As Denny Green would say: It is what we thought it would be damnit! Normally, we stray against sending you to places that have multiple locations, but Charlie Palmer does it right in DC. Charlie Palmer knows how to present a great meal, and with a location in crawling (and viewing) distance to the Capitol, you'll probably be sitting next to a Senator or two, so bring your bribin' money! The wine, the windows, the roof for big-time parties, and the food - heck, good luck gettin' a table. Hint: click below and start tryin'. Open Weekdays 5:30pm-10pm; Sat 5pm-10:30pm

It's the best steak in the city period and it's on the street that has the most carnivores in the country, K Street. You have to wear a coat and tie which the steaks here deserve. So leave your sandal-wearing hippie friend at the hotel and enjoy the finest meat the heavens will allow. Open Weekdays 11:30am-11pm; Sat 11:30am-11:30pm

This place is what Sneaky Sunday is all about. One of the best steak restaurants in a city full of them, but it is tucked away in a small strip mall in Arlington, VA. An $8 cab ride will put you at its doorstep to wait for a table (no reservations). Grab a margarita at the mexican place next door and they'll come get you for a nice and simple four-star experience. Open Mon-Sat 5:30pm-10pm; Sun 5:30pm-8pm

Sure there are plenty of Capital Grilles across the country, but how many are a block from the US Capitol? Fine, so it's not that sneaky. This location serves up an amazing steak while providing some serious DC power brokering at the bar. If you ever wanted to see lobbyists and Congressmen doing what you think they do, this is where they do it. Open Mon-Wed 11:30am-10pm; Thu-Fri 11:30am-11pm; Sat 5pm-11pm; Sun 5pm-10pm

You could say DC is the new Vegas when it comes to great NYC restaurants opening new locations. BLT is a great steak in Manhattan and a great steak in DC. Bring lots of CASH however, or you'll be washing dishes. Open Weekdays 11:45am-11pm; Sat 5:30pm-11pm

Want a great steak surrounded by faces of 'Famous for DC' people painted on the walls? Here you go. Sure you might not know John McLaughlin from Mark Foley (he's still up there!), but the food is great and the chocolate cake will keep you fed for a week. Open Weekdays 11:30am-11pm; Sat 5:30pm-11pm; Sun 5:30pm-9:30pm
