Zaytinya is all about ethnic tapas, and they're good. And the ladies will enjoy this place as the food comes on small plates and there is a lot of pretty glass. Shiny. Just don't let anyone tell you it's cheap. Sure tapas always looks cheap until you have to buy 30 of those little plates! Open Mon,Sun 11:30am-10pm; Tue-Thu 11:30am-11:30pm; Fri-Sat 11:30am-12am

Located upstairs in Glover Park, this place is usually where groups of open minded folks drag you and pretend to act like you understand the menu, or the waiter for that matter. But guess what? It's actually really good, so give it a try. You can't eat pizza every night!

IndeBleu is Indian French fusion if that helps you out??? Actually this place can be pretty cool for drinks and small plates before going out downtown. Try it out and then hit the hockey game at the Verizon Center if you're feeling too fancy.

This listing is in honor of all of the ethnicities that the nation of France discriminates against. Oh, those guys..... This restaurant is french countryside dining at its best and it's out near Great Falls, Virginia, which is a great daytime excursion. Open Tue-Sat 5:30pm-9:30pm; Sun 1:30pm-8pm

Although we like our greek to be served with a side of Opa!, we will accept this nuevo Greek cuisine for what it is worth. But still, flaming some Kaseri cheese never hurt anyone did it? Open Mon-Thu 11:30am-3pm, 5:30pm-10:30pm; Sat 5:30pm-11pm; Sun 5:30pm-10pm

This sneaky tourist spot on New York Avenue is a hit with some groups. It is Moroccan food in the most traditional sense of the word, from the washing of the hands to the eating with the hands to the belly dancers telling you 'no hands'. Open Weekdays 6pm-11pm; Weekends 5:30pm-11pm
