The food is as authentic as you’ll find in DC because the husband and wife team that built this place care about what they are serving you. The margaritas are great, even if you’re waiting on another certain restaurant next door, and the crowd feels very familiar and comfortable. Guajillo is the best Mexican food in DC, hands down.

Margarita's is cheap and just by looking at it, you have to wonder how it stays in business. Well, we wonder too, but while it maintains the nook next to Whole Foods, we'll continue to order gut-busting burritos and heavy poured margaritas and ask the hosts to change the station on the boombox playing in the back.

Hands down, the best mexican food in DC. Any place that makes its guacamole at your table is trying to impress you, and it works. The food is phenomenal and the drinks will keep you happy, especially when the check arrives. Open Daily 11:30am-3pm, 5pm-11pm

Cactus delivers on 'number of tables that can fit your kickball team', 'space to spread out' and 'location to Glover Park'. What they miss on is the authenticity of Mexican food.
