But the Wizards have Gilbert Arenas and the Caps have Alex Ovechkin. So they're worth checking out, especially when a better team comes to town and you realize that nobody in DC is from here or roots for either of these teams.

Washington Redskins. Gambling! Yes, instead of checking your fantasy team all day and calling in your bets from home, call them in from the club seats at FedEx Field. Wait until the Cowboys come to town so you can bet on the over/under of Owens receptions. The line is 2.

Of course not, but RFK also temporarily hosts the Washington Nationals MLB team. Once the Nats' new stadium is finished across town for next season, that location will replace this relic of eras gone by, except for soccer fans who will still have to suffer through it. Ha.

Seriously, when is the last time you worked out? Anyways, the mall has tons of softball, football and yes, kickball fields scattered about. So organize two groups that pretend to not like one another and have at it.

This is a great stadium with great tailgating and awesome fly-overs and traditions. Our favorite is Navy-Tulane. Drown your Green Wave sorrows at one of the many pubs in downtown Annapolis afterwards.

Their basketball games are played either here or at the Verizon Center. Otherwise, they have a bunch of other sports like lacrosse, field hockey and soccer that some people enjoy watching.

Washington Nationals baseball

The Washington Nationals - Major Leaque Baseball in DC.
