Local 16 was one of the first bars on U Street that attracted the young professional element to that neighborhood. So locals obviously hate it. And frankly, we don’t much care for the U Street attitude so we could do without it as well. But it is a good bar with a good outdoor area and a good place to meet a group of friends for some food and upscale drinks. Since we have nothing else to mention, we’ll compare it to its neighbor Marvin on 14th street. Never go to Marvin. Their staff members are the worst in the city, and the patio isn’t worth it. See the line out front? There is no use for standing in it on multiple levels. Did we mention their awful staff? So, Local 16 - yes,
