Bad decor, bad bathroom situation and bartenders who think less of you because you work a 9 to 5. Yes, this is a dive. On Fridays and Saturdays, this place is packed. After favorable reviews in the 90's, the clientele shifted to yuppie, and it's finally getting its roots back, so we wanted to make sure we provided another favorable review to ruin their night. They may think of themselves as an upscale lounge....we're skeptical....but one thing we do know is that any bar that shoves 30 couches of drastically varying quality into their bar as their primary seating is a dive. I know, I know. Anyway, this place is a dive in Dupont Circle worth checking out. Plenty of places to pull up a stool that has leather missing and stuffing falling out and order the beer of your choice.
