Originally built as a vaudeville and movie theatre back in 1928, the Paramount's magnificent architecture still reflects the beauty of an era gone by. Sound and lighting updates have made it a favorite venue for live music and theatre performances.

Built in 1907, the Moore is the oldest remaining theatre in Seattle. While definitely in need of a little TLC, you can still see shades of the Moore's former glory and it makes a popular spot for live music, comedy, etc.
Located approximately three hours east of Seattle, the Gorge is definitely worth the drive. Spring for a reserved seat or go for general admission on one of the grassy knolls. Either way, there's nothing like watching a performance at sunset, with the scenic backdrop of the Columbia River gorge behind the stage. Camp in the field nearby if you're up for a rowdy atmosphere, or stay at a hotel in a nearby town if you'd prefer a good night's sleep.

Let's face it -- you're going to go wherever a performer you like is playing, but if you want to make your decision based on the venue, the Triple Door is a lovely option. Drink and dine while seated in the theatre, enjoying a good view from every table.

Two locations (Pike Place Market and SODO) offer seating in the bar area or standing room only on the dance floor. Consistently rated one of the best venues for live music in Seattle.

Dimitriou's, Seattle's premier jazz club, was established in 1979. A reservation guarantees that you'll get in to see the show, but specific tables are not pre-assigned. Preferential seating is given to dinner guests.
