As a destination city, Santa Fe has an astounding amount of fine dining establishments, Geronimo being one of the best! Undoubtedly upscale in its furnishings and menu, this restaurant will please those seeking a high end meal in an elegant atmosphere. The simplest treatments of meat and fish are the finest – the elk tenderloin would be an example of that! Its location on Santa Fe’s Canyon Road in the heart of the art district makes Geronimo popular with tourists as well as locals so a reservation would probably make sense! A fine dining experience focusing on a menu that features southwest and Mexican cuisine is what you will be treated to at Gabriel’s! Located a few minutes north of downtown, close to Santa Fe’s Opera, it’s definitely worth the ride! The made to order guacamole, created tableside is one of their specialties! Hand made corn tortillas is another! When you combine the authentic flavors of the traditional southwest menu items with the views of the rugged Sangre de Christo Mountains on their spectacular patio, this restaurant is pure Santa Fe fantastic! This is another classic fine dining experience located in the heart of cool, on Canyon Road, in Santa Fe! There’s quite a history attached to the Compound. Originally it comprised a group of homes rented out by celebrities and the rich and famous, to get away from it all! The homes were consolidated during the 1960’s into the landmark restaurant it is today. When fine dining means simply the best available meats, fish and seafood cooked to perfection, the Compound defines itself as the best. Hours – Mon-Sat, Lunch – 12-2 Dinner – 6pm until closing

Located just off Santa Fe’s historic plaza, inside the Inn at Loretto, this restaurant deserves a mention as yet another excellent choice of fine dining in the “City Different!” The ambiance of the Inn’s landmark building adds even more charm! If weather permits, and it usually does in New Mexico, try dining on the patio – one of the truly most exquisite in Santa Fe! You’ll find the food exquisite as well – choice offerings of steaks, chops, fish and seafood. Hours – Daily, Breakfast – 7-11am Lunch – 11:30am-2pm Dinner – 5-10pm
