Opened in 1995, Elk Grove Brewery has a home in many locals hearts. The historic building, which houses the giant copper brewing tanks, is a great spot for superior beer. Their seasonal beers are among some of the best I have tasted. I'm a light beer fan and the Otis Alt was fantastic!!! The entertainment and socializing with other customers added to the delicious menu and the high quality Brewery beers.

Sac Brew had a great selection of beer....as a good brew house should. The Scotch ale was awesome! There are lots of great items on the menu....i had the Bruscetta Chicken Pasta, which was great. All in all, a great place to enjoy a few cold ones. be sure to take note of their coaster collection.

22 taps....yes...22 and most pours come in 19 or 20 oz. glasses! They have something for everyone. Brew It Up has a good happy hour (4p-6p) with $3 pints, and FREE hot snacks (cheese sticks & jalapeno poppers). They had knowledgeable brewers on site...who were very willing to help. Vanilla Cream Stout is truly an excellent beer that makes my mouth water when I think about it! If you find yourself in Sacramento this place is a must.

BJ's may be a chain, but I can't deny that really like the place. The high ceiling and open view of their brewing facility makes the decor. They have a variety of beers that will please any palate. I had a 6 beer sampler, which included a very very good imperial stout, a red porter (my friend's fav), a Kolsch, a very true to style bavarian heffe, the piranha pale ale, which was very tasty, very hoppy, and my favorite. Their pizzas are always a good choice and the Pizookie (their pizza cookie desert) is AMAZING!

If you go to Rubicon Brewing Co you have to try their "famous" Rubicon wings. Loaded with flavorful spices, the mouth watering vinegary aroma leave your mouth hot and happy. Known for popular IPA. $2 beer every Tuesday night. This is a top local favorite.
