Jerky's has a very diverse crowd, but always fun. It is really low key and has cheap prices. The bar has a beer special every night and a drink special. Most often they have Guinness, Hoegaarden, Sam Adams, Magic Hat, Harpoon, and Bass on tap. Also make sure and check out there website because they have live entertainment. This isn't exactly a dive bar, but it isn't what I would consider a classy or upscale bar either. Regardless, it is worth the trip to Richmond Street.

Lupo's at the Strand (formally the Strand) is very spacious with lots of bars. There is plenty of space to dance on the stage, dancefloor, or relax in the lounge area. The restaurant specializes in seafood dishes but also has great happy hour items for $1.95 each. Great food and drinks at a great price is bound to equal a great time!

It is a fun bar with that has a nice water view and an outside deck. After 10 it is a great place to go dance. Just be aware, it is a popular college hang out on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Before becoming a bar, this building was designed to be a Masonic Temple but construction was never completed. It was vacant for many years. Now it is the home of Temple Downtown, which is a very funky and edgy restaurant/lounge with a classy feel and great views of the State Building. It is definitely worth stopping by after work, on a date, or with a group of friends. Temple serves great appetizers, entrees, and great drinks!
