Citron is a new wine bar/ restaurant in Providence which is located right near Waterfire and the Providence Place Mall. It is great in the nice weather because there is seating outside. It's open for lunch, brunch, dinner and late night. Citron even offers a large list of organic beers. La Laiterie has a unique offering of wines and beers. Often they pair some of the meals each night with a recommended glass of wine. It is located on the ground level of the Westin Hotel right near the Providence Place Mall, the Convention Center, and the Dunkin Donut Center. Fleming's offers over 100 different wines by the glass! For all you big spenders, you can order off the The Reserve List, which offers over 80 wines available by the bottle. They rank all their wines based on general categories to help people decide on the right choice. Tazza is a funky neighborhood caffe & bar, which is open morning, noon and night. I love the food and drinks here so much that I went here three times in two days! It offers great coffee, food, cocktails and live music. If you are ordering breakfast make sure and get a Bloody Mary too--they are great! Check out the entertainment schedule to see what's going on. Bacaro is relatively new to Providence's restaurant and bar scene. It is an Italian restaurant, Salumeria, and a wine bar with a comfortable atmosphere. According to their website, it is considered an Enoteca. This means it offers over a 100 different types of wine from at least 10 regions of Italy, 5 from France, and 2 other areas.
