All around great place to hang out and is located in the Jewelry District. There are lots of pool tables and a small outdoor bar area. There are also some TVs and a lot of space, making it a perfect place to watch a game. Sometimes they have local bands come in and play. They have fixed it up a lot, so it's not exactly the dive it use to be but it's a great lounge/pool hall. Hours: Open Mon 12am-1am, 4pm-1am; Tue-Thu 4pm-1am; Fri 4pm-2am; Sat 6pm-2am; Sun 6pm-12am

Trinity Brewhouse makes their own beer and never offers the same beer selection more than two days in a row. It is a great place to go after work or before going to a performance at the Trinity Rep Theater. It is definitely a place you must try! Beware, it is jam packed whenever there is an event at the Dunkin Donuts Center.

The Wild Colonial Tavern is a mellow yet fun place to hang out after work, after class, or on the weekends. It has a solid beer selection and descent food at a good price. Don't go expecting a posh bar, the Wild Colonial has a definite rustic feel.

McFadden's is the perfect place to catch any sports game. There are a bunch of flat screen TVs throughout the bar, some tables, and a few pool tables. They have different events each night. After 10 p.m. some of the tables are removed to make room for dancing. Make sure and check their events calendar. Also as an FYI there is a big college crowd there on Thursday nights.
