Before becoming a bar, this building was designed to be a Masonic Temple but construction was never completed. It was vacant for many years. Now it is the home of Temple Downtown, which is a very funky and edgy restaurant/lounge with a classy feel and great views of the State Building. It is definitely worth stopping by after work, on a date, or with a group of friends. Temple serves great appetizers, entrees, and great drinks!
