Renaissance isn't your typical club. It doesn't usually attract the craziness and dare I say, trashy, club-goers you can often find downtown. I guess you could describe it as a more low key place to go dancing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is located on Atwells Ave in Federal Hill. There is a cool bar area, DJ, and dance floor. There can be a long line so get there early if you don't want to wait. It is definitely the perfect place to go if you want to dance but don't want to deal with the craziness and sometimes trashy atmosphere that you would find at clubs downtown. During the day, Renaissance is a restaurant.
