This is a small, simple bar with a neighborhood feel. It has a solid beer selection though not very extensive. Some of the draft beers include Warsteiner, Allagash White, Guinness, and of course, 'Gansett. It has excellent food, but it's not your typical pub/bar food. They offer a bunch of vegi dishes, seafood, and the pub-food classics. It's a great place to go to catch a sports game or a quick bite to eat.

Ri-Ra is a great bar for all ages! It is always packed and on certain nights you can even play a fun game of trivia. It is a great place to relax, grab a beer, and listen to some Irish music.

Trinity Brewhouse makes their own beer and never offers the same beer selection more than two days in a row. It is a great place to go after work or before going to a performance at the Trinity Rep Theater. It is definitely a place you must try! Beware, it is jam packed whenever there is an event at the Dunkin Donuts Center.

Wickendon Pub has a huge selection of beer--over 99 types of domestic and imports. It is always crowded with a good mix college student and locals. Hands down one of the best little pubs in Providence. Hours: Open Mon-Sat 3pm-12am

A really quaint local pub. It has a few TVs and a pool table in the back bar. I wouldn't go here for a big Red Sox Yankees playoff game, but it is a great place to watch a game while grabbing a bit to eat. They have a pub type menu with lots of sandwiches and appetizers, but also have dinners and salads as well. Drink prices are reasonable and they even make a great martini. Hours: Open Mon-Wed 6pm-1am; Thu 4pm-1am; Fri-Sat 4pm-2am; Sun 4pm-1am

Great place to get a beer and catch a sports game. The food is really good too, especially the burgers. It is a small pub with over 101 beer choices. If you are from the area it is definitely worth your while to join the "Beer Club." Also on Tuesday nights the Abbey has 20 cent wing night! It is located right near Providence College.
