Grolla Restaurant and Wine Bar is what heaven must be like. Take your date here and ask for the chef's menu. For $75 a person, you get 5 courses chosen by the chef and it's whatever he feels keen to that night. You also get all the wine you can drink and there is a different selection for each course. My recommendation is make sure someone can drive at the end of the night because it's very easy to be too drunk by the end of the night. Dinner Tuesday-Saturday 5-10p Sunday 4:30-9:30p Late Night Small Plates begins at 9p

This small italian joint is the best italian in Portland. An incredible italian wine selection will keep you buzzed through your gut-appeasing meal of pasta and caprese salad. When a big soccer match is going on they have it on and are screaming whenever the Italy team scores. The staff are very excited and pleased to provide you with gastronomical happiness. The wine represents well the Pacific Northwest and so does the food. The setting is very comfortable and relaxed and the staff are very knowledgeable. Be prepared to spend a little more for dinner at Lucy's but the price is reasonable when considering what you get. The menu is based on American cuisine with Italian and French influence. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday starting at 5:00pm Social Hour 5:00pm - 6:30pm Monday through Friday Closed Sunday

Yes they have pigeon on the menu. Le Pigeon is the best restaurant for anyone who loves meat. Tables are set up for random strangers to sit next to each other, so don't expect to sit alone with your companion, it's typical Portland. Great deserts and the beef is incredible as the chef big chances with the dishes and seems to succeed on everyone. I've never had a bad meal here as the iminagination on each plate delivers! Everyday: 5pm-Close

Enjoy Andina with a group of friends. Andina serves Peruvian inspired cuisine and cocktails and whatever you order you will not be disappointed. The bar hosts a happy hour daily from 4pm-6pm with cocktails and small-plate specials that will certainly tempt you to stay for dinner. Every night the house guitar player provides flemenco house music, make sure you try the "Sacsayhuaman" (pronounced "Sexy Woman") cocktail.
