Richardson's is one of the coolest Mexican restaurants in the state and has some of the best margaritas you will ever have. The chips and salsa must have crack sprinkled on them and the food is fanstastic. It is listed as "New Mexican" fare which to us means your mouth will be on f^c*ing fire. Hours of Operation: Lunch: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Mon.-Fri. Dinner: 4 p.m.-midnight daily. Brunch: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sat.-Sun.

Barrio is a fantastic Mexican choice with plenty of variety and creativity. It is a little small and almost always draws a small wait, but the sangria and fresh guacamole (made tableside during dinner) make it all worthwhile. Z-Tejas is a very popular spot with multiple locations throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale. They have made a name for themselves with their margarita and spicy Mexican/Southwestern dishes. North Scottsdale bar featuring dance music, large televisions around the bars, and a beach on the patio, complete with sand and water. Great drinks and the place can get pretty crazy as the night goes later. It is not uncommon to see a person or two end up in the water.
