TRIA is one of Philly’s premiere wine bar destinations (in fact there are two of them) with a list of vinos from around the world that will blow your mind. Our favorite is the one located on 18th street because it is in the heart of Center City and near all the action. Whether you like reds, whites or even a little bubbly, Tria offers something to suite every palate. Tria also has a fantastic selection of cheeses and beers and is always changing its selection and menu. The staff is also really knowledgeable so if you are not an expert they can give you a good recommendation and a little education on what you are drinking too.

This Italian restaurant not only features amazing homemade pastas, but it also has a separate bar with one of the most-renowned wine lists in the city. Located off of the Penn’s View Hotel, this gem of a restaurant has made its central focus the wine bar with a custom-built 120-bottle wine keeper set amongst a romantic setting that will make you feel like you have been swept off to Italy. Panorama is also known for its flights of wine which come hanging from this fixture that looks like a mini-tree with glasses of wine hanging from it – tres cool. They have a list of more than 150 different wines and offers them all by the bottle, by the glass and also as part of a flight. Be sure to keep an eye out for their special winemakers dinners to where they have the geniuses behind all of the great wines come and talk about various vintages and of course taste them - our favorite part!

Vintage has one of the widest selections of wine by glass we have ever seen – offering around 60 different options. Of course for those of you looking to tilt a little more back there are plenty of options by the bottle as well. One of our favorite things about Vintage are the flights of wine they offer where you cant taste three different wines at once – what can be better than multiple drinks at one time? Vintage also pairs their wine with an outstanding food menu featuring fresh local ingredients – this outstanding wine list coupled with the menu make quite the dynamic duo and are a must try. Open Monday – Saturday from 12:00pm – 2:00am.

This South Philly secret is one of our favorite wine bar destinations – particularly if you are looking for a quieter place to go on a weekend (it tends to be less hectic then some of the Center City hotspots). Chicks Café recently had a bit of a facelift and is looking better than ever. With a sleek atmosphere and more than 50 wines by the glass, this place is doing it with class.

Ok, we know we are supposed to be talking about wine here, but we have to start off by saying the food at this place is awesome. Bar Ferdinand does not necessarily have the longest wine list in the city – but let us assure you that while it might be small, it is mighty. All of the wines on the list are excellent, the food is out of this world and the décor will make you feel like you have been swept away to Spain. These elements combined make Bar Ferdinand a triple threat and one of our Sneaky favorites.
