If we’re going to cut to the chase, Public House is probably the sexiest singles scene in Philly. It’s absolutely crawling with incredibly attractive guys and girls. (This is just speculation, but we’re pretty sure they’ve swapped their ‘no jeans’ policy at the door for a ‘good genes’ guideline.) You’ll wait in line for upwards of an hour to get in, but if we take a ‘glass half-full mentality,’ there’s a cache of beautiful people waiting right there with you. So cheers!

Welcome to the Walnut Room: our any-night prescription for being single and happy. An instant upper, this upstairs bar and lounge attracts hot young professionals for late-night dancing and drinking. From hip-hop and soul to 80s pop and raggaeton, the DJs know how to get you poppin’. And the classic Midnight Cosmopolitan is just what the doctor ordered.

Sounds romantic, doesn’t it? Well, star-crossed lover or not, we think you’ll find Plough one of the dreamiest singles scenes in the City. With two floors (and two bars) to mix and mingle, we’ve got two words for you: Bottoms up.

This tasty little bistro and bar off Rittenhouse Square serves up an even-tastier singles scene. On its own, Loie’s a chill spot for happy hour, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., but turns up the heat after 10:00 p.m. with a DJ and fun-loving crowds. If you’re looking for alone time, the upstairs lounge is always an intimate scene.

If going home alone really isn’t an option tonight, hit up Bar Noir. Sure, it’s underground. And kind-of a dive bar. And definitely old-school. (You can’t miss the posters of Elvis on the walls.) But everyone there is looking for a good time, and they’re probably pretty hammered with all of the awesome drink specials on tap, so odds are in your favor you can find a sweetheart before night’s end. So what if Fools Rush In?

To pay homage to Ashlee Simpson for no particular reason, we “L-O- L-O- L-O- L-O-V-E” the look of this place. And that goes for the décor as much as the clientele. Owing to personal experience, we vote Continental Midtown’s rooftop lounge one of the top summer scenes in the Philly market. So be sure to check it out.
