Although I have eaten breakfast here countless times, I can never remember eating here during breakfast hours - this place never closes and always a full menu. Your typical truck stop cafe that delivers great food from a lady named Louis (or Gladis) and will surely call you Honey (or Sugar) with a smile every time. If this category was "comfort food" it would be tops. Sneaky tip - order the chicken fried steak breakfast and never look back.

Hours: Brunch and lunch 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; dinner 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, brunch 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays. The chef has been known to describe his cuisine as Cajun, Southern and Southwestern. The menu appears to adjust as his mood change as well, but everything we’ve had has been great. This is truly a great place to eat in Omaha.
