Don't go so so much if you're wanting a 'fine dining' experience, but this is probably the most obvious choice if the priority is being outside (this is right next to the Hudson river) for a casual dinner, date, get-together, happy hour, etc ,etc) - being outdoors is what this place is mainly about. Open from Apr 13-Oct 31, Mon-Wed 12pm-11pm, Thurs-Fri 12am-11:30pm, Sat 11am-11:30am, Sun 11am-10pm

Not sure why this restaurant hasn't popped up in more places on Sneaky Sunday. This would be the pick for something more upscale than the Boat Basin. The general reputation tends to be that the food is not what you might expect given how famous this place is. However, its still a lovely setting for outdoor dining, with dancing at night, etc.

Part of the Hudson Hotel, the main part of this restaurant is indoors, right next to the bar area. To my recollection its possible to dine outside as well, more or less right alongside the trendy outdoor bar scene.

Not ranked higher here mainly b/c this place is really more on the East Side of the Park than the West, but easy enough to get to from the West side. Lovely, romantic setting. Open Mon thru Friday Lunch 12:00-4:00; Dinner (April-November) 5:30-9:30. Saturday and Sunday Brunch 9:30 am-4:00 pm; Dinner (April-November) 6:00 PM- 9:30.
