This moderately-upscale nuevo-Latino restaurant sits in a fresh, inviting environment. The surroundings mimic the delicious ceviches and thirst-quenching caipirinhas that are a must order. The front bar area is often lively with 20-40's age range and the dining area is comfy but elegant. The paella is quite satisfying, but our fav is the crispy Cuban pork. Calle Ocho is named after 8th street in Miami and it does a nice job of staying true to its inspiration. Open Mon-Thu 6pm-11pm; Fri 6pm-12am; Sat 5pm-12am; Sun 11:30am-3pm, 5pm-10pm

There are two types of people - those who like Cuban food and weirdos. If you fall under the former, this is a good stop off and get your fill. The food is great and priced to move. Ease into things with a tasty empanada or tostone and then chow away on a scrumptiously simple Cubano sandwich. For you vegetarians, consider switching to meat. You won't regret it. If that doesn't sound like a good plan, they have a monster menu that'll cater to anyone's preferences. Of course, close it out with a smooth Cafe con Leche.

For a different experience head over to Turkuaz for a night of Turkish fun. It's obvious from the get-go, the Turks certainly know how to have a good time. Most dishes are some combination of chickpeas, eggplant, lamb or chicken, in a fantastic way. Don't be afraid to dive into some swordfish skewers, they're savory and cooked to perfection. Oh yeah and, no need to worry, you can catch the belly dance show every Friday and Saturday nights. Open Mon-Thu,Sun 11:30am-11pm; Fri-Sat 11:30am-12am

You'll be yelling OPA!! with each delicious bite. Chef Michael Psilakis is a Greek god in the kitchen. It also won't cost you an arm and a leg which makes it all the better. All of the Greek highlights are done right. The octopus is incredible and the other seafood dishes are seasoned just right. Don't even get us started on the meat creations - awesome. It's a super-comfortable place to enjoy the best that Greece has to offer, which is quite a lot. Grab some Ouzo and make a night out of it.
