Solid UWS pick for excellent desserts in a higher-end restaurant setting. (Most other entries in this category are dessert specialty places.) Several other UWS restaurants could fit the bill here, including Ouest, Cesca, Telepan. Cafe des Artistes has the particular advantage of being situated near Lincoln Center, making it convenient for an after-theater stop. Open til midnight, too.
