This place is stellar. This classy seafood spot is smack-dab in the middle of one of the city’s hottest neighborhoods…Soho. They not only have an awesome long bar filled with oyster shuckers and bartenders and a warm, convivial dining room but also a great outdoor area for dining. So hit this spot up during the warmer months. Come here and have the oysters…they have many different kinds to choose from. Also the super-friendly staff will suggest a wine to go with them.

First off, they have two locations…one in the East Village, which is my personal favorite and one on the Upper West Side. The dining room is almost always packed which should tell you how delectable the food is. It’s a great neighborhood place and with the flat $15 mark up on its wine…a night out is affordable for everyone. I loved the little neck clams and the spicy seafood spaghetti. Be sure to come in a little early or later because it can be difficult to nab a table. But, it’s totally worth the wait.

This sunny corner spot is usually packed to the gills with couples on dates and small groups of friends looking for great, yet simple seafood fare. They always find that here. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Go and definitely order the lobster roll…it will not disappoint and lives up to it’s reputation of being the best. The NO HARD ALCHOHOL is not missed at all with the draft beers and the fantastic wines. It’s fun and light and that’s totally refreshing.
