So grab your best bud, snuggle close (as the long bar creates a cozy seating arrangement) and see who can pound belgium ale's faster!

The Germans over at Lederhosen certainly know a thing or two about about beer. Their wide range of hard-to-find grogs on tap and in the bottle serves as a who's who list of things you'll never be able to pronounce. Especially with each subsequent round. Order drafts in anything from the 1/2 pint on up to the 5 liter keg. The prices are shockingly reasonable. The delicious and hearty food serves as the perfect foundation for all that great beer. Try the Legerhosen Deluxe, a beef and pork burger served with a Jaegermeister mushroom sauce. It all adds up to a veritable smorgasbord of deliciousness and good times.

Simply put, it's a grog mecca. The beer list is beyond staggering. You think you know, you have no idea. Draft beers, cask beers, bottled beers, vintage beers, bloody beers -- it's all here for the taking. Their assortment of some of the toughest-to-find brews around can be overwhelming to some, or a delightful challenge to more seasoned vets. Nobody can argue that this place isn't a beer aficionado's happy place. It doesn't get the nod for best only because of the tight quarters, but it's still a great spot.

This little rabbit hole is made for good times and some oh so tasty beer sampling. It's fun to take first-timers for the brief moment that occurs when they feel like they're about to be kidnapped and sold for parts. The barkeeps are highly knowledgeable and semi-friendly for a place this hip. You can get some tasty little morsels to munch on while you consume their great selection of beers from far-off lands. Check it out and bask in the street-cred for knowing about it.

You can tell by the name it's a great place to catch a game, but it's also a great place to catch a beer you've never had before. Their terrific selection of local handcrafted brews are available by the pint or mega-pitcher, which is 72 fluid ounces of goodness. Be careful though, many of these grogs pack quite a wallop. The Chelsea Summer Solstice is a tasty local beer, perfect for a sunny day. They switch out their beers a lot, the mark of any good brewhouse. Note that they don't serve food, but you can bring your own or order from the many great spots in the area.

The Germans know how to have a good time, no doubt about it. This isn't just a beergarden, no no, it's a biergarten. What's more legit than that? Before you know it you'll be swillin' steins and singing classic German drinking songs without your pants on. They've got all the great German eats that you can't pronounce, but all you need to do is point. It's a riotous great time where you come as yourself and leave as a drunken german chambermaiden.
