Don't expect total peace and quiet when you come to Spring Thyme for a massage or acupuncture, but do expect a great massage at reasonable rates and friendly people to help ease your troubles away. Spring Thyme is set up in a former brownstone and isn't a large space, which means the only thing keeping you from the person next to you is a tasteful partition type 'fence'. This place is worth a visit though, who needs a ‘Bliss’ type atmosphere anyway?

A definite hidden gem in a rather rough area of Clinton Hill underneath the BQE overpass. Body by Brooklyn is a huge facility with private rooms for massage, facials and the works. Be sure to bring a bathing suit to take advantage of the free Russian hot/cold baths, and steam room. Body also has a great cafe area, where you can enjoy a glass of wine post massage and bask in your new-found flow near their fireplace.

Don't be thrown off by the garish TV and massage video playing outside this location on the sidewalk. This place has a plethora of neon signs, Chinese lettering and who knows what on the store-front so that we can't even really figure out the real name. The massages can't be beat though- they are drool inducing and cheap, and we have been known to stay longer than the hour we came in for. Hours: Mon-Sat 10am-8pm, Sun 11am-6pm
