Irene's is one of those time-warp restaurants, tucked away in a quiet(er) part of the French Quarter, on the corner of St. Philip and Chartres. A wonderful taste of Italian in a cozy, romantic atmosphere. The chicken Rose Marino was outstanding, as was the soft-shell crab. Save room for the Bread Pudding served "Bananas Foster-style," or Creole cream cheese cake. With excellent service you are sure to get a personal dining experience.
