Pricey but worth every penny! Super relaxed atmosphere but not unprofessional in any way. You may have to wait in a line and the seating is tight. But the food is to die for. Some of the best versions of classic New Orleans cooking that can be found.

One of New Orleans finest chefs and restauranteurs, Susan Spicer, has a French Quarter gem in Bayona. The patio is great for any kind of date....first date, fifth date, anniversary, whatever. The inside dining room is considerably more formal if you want that sort of vibe. Katrina definitely impacted the wine collection but they have made great strides to recreate it. Contemporary american and international gourmet cuisine. Open Mon-Thu 11:30am-2pm, 6pm-10pm; Fri 11:30am-2pm, 6pm-11pm; Sat 6pm-11pm

Classic New Orleans bar located Uptown at the end of St.Charles Ave (St. Charles and Carrollton) on the Strret Car line...blocks from Tulane University. Insane beer selection, raw oysters on the half shell, boiled crawfish, po'boys, plenty of sports on the TVs and pool tables. Go there. Open Sun-Thu 11am-3am; Fri-Sat 11am-4am

Trolley Stop cafe is like IHOP with more charm. It's a great late night breakfast food place right on the streetcar line (St. Charles Ave).
