The high ceilings and red brick walls that are covered with art create a very romantic atmosphere. Even though it's close to Vanderbilt, it's a professional crowd that runs through the tables. No matter if you're from the North or the South, you can experience Southern hospitality at it's finest. Go in for a good time and have your server joke around with you. Even though there's two floors, for the best experience stay downstairs on the main level. There's a great wine selection that will complement the date. Hours: Open Mon-Thu 4:30pm-10pm; Fri-Sat 4:30pm-11pm

Floating on the docks of the nearby Rock Harbor marina, the Blue Moon Café is Nashville’s answer to Margaritaville. The large outdoor deck and seafood inspired menu are unique in land-locked middle Tennessee and give the effective illusion of seaside dining. After undergoing a recent overhaul, business has been booming due to the solid happy-hour specials, an array of savory seafood, and nightly live music. Located just 10 minutes from downtown, this is a great place to sneak out of the city for a casual week-day dinner.
