Hot chicken is a bit of an underground art form in Nashville, and any local will tell you that Prince’s is the king. For the unacquainted, these out of the way eateries take traditional southern fried chicken and twist it into a molten test of manhood. Prince’s birds are offered in four different levels, from mild to extra-hot, and the only advice I can offer is this...know your limits. Don’t try to be a hero as many people claim Prince’s is the hottest thing they have ever eaten. Consume at your own risk. Expect slow service and be sure to order water and maybe a side of cole slaw to put out the flames.
