Bongo Java is Nashville's oldest and most celebrated coffeehouse. If you are not scared of being surrounded by graduate students, JJ's is an amazing place to go relax. Cuddle up with a book or do some work while sipping on one of their specialty drinks. Their coffee is good, but their teas are even better! They have a wall full of flavors to chose from and will steep your tea for you. Their drinks are so yummy that they will even start a credit card tab for you. Even more, they have specialty chocolates and snacks in their little market portion of their coffeehouse. This local chain is now up to three locations drawing in a steady crowd of introverted students and discriminating coffee drinkers. The coffee is grown all around the world, but roasted on-site and the knowledgable staff is happy to point out the virtues of their favorite brew.
