It has a full service bar, an solid kitchen, and the live music draws a crowd Thursday through Saturday nights. Downstairs, there's a full bar and small dining room where live Irish music entertains rowdy and loyal crowds on weekends. Upstairs is quieter, with board games, darts and a big-screen TV. Mulligan's is a "smoking" bar and restaurant and in accordance with the Nashville laws, you must be 21 to enter. A middle-aged after-work crowd comes in for weekday happy hours before heading to the suburbs. By 8pm, a younger, more collegiate demographic presses against every open area of the bar. If Vanderbilt has a road game, it's a great place to grab a beer and cheer for the 'Dores. Hours: Mon-Fri 3pm-2am; Sat-Sun 12pm-2am

Pittsburgh finds Nashville: Love the Pittsburgh style sandwiches loaded with fries. Piranha's also offers a nice selection of bottled beer and plenty of room upstairs.
