Dive in Gopher fans, the Beer is cold. On a scale of one to ten with 10 being the most sophisticated establishment, Gopher Bar grabs the number one seed on the opposite end of the scale. Over the years we’ve come to fancy ourselves quite proficient within the wonderful world of dive bars, and Gopher Bar ranks up there with some of the nations best. The old school pic of the Gopher Hockey Team in jockstraps, and dead animal heads on the wall really sets the mood, and they’ve got one of the best damn chili dogs you’ll ever have. Warning: the beers can very easily lead to shots, so make sure you’ve got plenty of greenbacks on hand if you plan on making a night of it. Because the Gopher Bar doesn’t take down the Christmas lights in July, and they don’t take American Express. Tip your bartenders.
