This place is incredible and is the definition of what this site is all about! It's down home, authentic, homemade Italian recipes in a cozy setting. The chef, Marc Randazzo, makes the soups and sauces from scratch each and every morning. He could also beat the shit out of you if he wanted since he is an ex-professional boxer. Lucky for you he would rather serve you a great meal and treat you like a long lost cousin. The restaurant is cozy, and the dishes are intended to be shared. This guarantees you and your date will be snuggled in close!

We couldn't have been more impressed with Barton G if someone hooked us up to laughing gas and slipped us some happy pills. For starters there's plenty of history here since the place opened as Gatti's in 1925. Out of fear for losing a limb we felt compelled to mention that little tidbit. It took us a few wrong turns to find it but once we did we were blown away by the atmosphere and attention to detail. Each dish is prepared with the freshest finest ingredients and presented in spectacular flare. The desserts, particularly the "chocolate fun-do", are decadent. This is a first-class experience from start to finish. Hours: Dinner: Sunday- Thursday: 6:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 6:00pm - 12:00pm
