The Florida Room is a new lounge in the ultra sheek Delano Hotel. It opened up just a few months ago and it's one of the most popular spots on the beach at the moment. Unless you're a guest in the hotel or have a reservation you are not getting in so don't tell us who you are.

Joe's is king in Miami when it comes to restaurants. You won't be making reservations on this site or any other site because they don't take them. Prepare to wait in line or grease the maitre'd (after your meal). When checking in say "I will come see you after dinner" and you might not have to wait for more than an hour. If you don't immediately come see him after dinner you will be swimming with the fish before you start your car. This place is incredible and is the definition of what this site is all about! It's down home, authentic, homemade Italian recipes in a cozy setting. The chef, Marc Randazzo, makes the soups and sauces from scratch each and every morning. He could also beat the shit out of you if he wanted since he is an ex-professional boxer. Lucky for you he would rather serve you a great meal and treat you like a long lost cousin.

Prime 112 is one of the most popular restaurants on the beach at the moment and it's as much of an experience as it is a meal. This is a place you go to have a good time, enjoy some drinks, and be seen. The portions are big enough to share and the place is spendy. We recommend seeing what all the fuss is about.
Mynt

You won't be able to hear one damn thing the whole night but who cares you will be partying with the best looking people on South Beach and shelling out $15 a drink at one of the hottest clubs in town. In the world of finicky south beach night life and club scenes, Mynt has a proven track record and staying power. This place has played host to countless celebrities and high rollers through the years and shows no sign of slowing down.
Shore Club

If you want to get a good laugh out of the hot hotel guest sitting next to you, bring up the outdoor bar at the all-inclusive joint you stayed at in Jamaica and tell them Shore Club has nothing on it. Your credibility will be destroyed but at least you can shamefully escape to a cabanna and the best outdoor bar on South Beach. The pool scene will have your jaw dropped and tongue wagging.
The Forge

This is not the type of place that is going to send us a thank you card for naming it one of the best steaks in Miami and one of the best overall restaurants in South Florida. They may have the best wine cellar in the entire country and have received national acclaim for longer than we have been alive. This place is a heavyweight and we pay it hommage. You are in for one of the best meals and dining experiences of your life. Hours of Operation: Daily 6:30pm-12am

Everyone knows about Miami's Cuban heritage and if they don't they need to stop wasting time here and go to a library. Versailles is about as authentic as it gets when it comes to Cuban food and you owe it to yourself to try the plantains. If you want to get your arms around Miami, its past and present, and the people that make it up go experience Versailles.

One of the coolest parts about Casa Tua is the fact they don't advertise or display any signage in front of the hotel or restaurant. Instead you will find original art and flowers on display. We couldn't have been more impressed with Barton G if someone hooked us up to laughing gas and slipped us some happy pills. For starters there's plenty of history here since the place opened as Gatti's in 1925. Out of fear for losing a limb we felt compelled to mention that little tidbit. It took us a few wrong turns to find it but once we did we were blown away by the atmosphere and attention to detail. Each dish is prepared with the freshest finest ingredients and presented in spectacular flare. The desserts, particularly the "chocolate fun-do", are decadent. This is a first-class experience from start to finish. Hours: Dinner: Sunday- Thursday: 6:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 6:00pm - 12:00pm

Just as much as it is known for its unique buy yummy comfort food, it is also known for drawing a fair amount of celebrities. There are many trendy clubs all around so it makes sense that the people who wonder over are pretty good looking.
