Leave those over-priced shoes at home, because they’re coming off anyway at the Mandarin Oriental’s beach party Barefoot at Oasis. The Moroccan-themed seasonal soiree (November-May) from 6-11p.m. is a Friday night getaway for 1,000 plus professionals working in the Brickell area. Though your toes might be happy wiggling in the sand, don’t expect your wallet to get the same break since there’s no drink specials. Good news is the crowd and the water views make up for it. Also, thanks to corporate sponsorship, there’s usually a liquor company handling out free samples, which leaves money for the $15 valet.

Monty's is one of those fun after work spots with a great happy hour and good food. It is right on the water and just feels like the start of a weekend or a vacation. Not surprising it is one of the most popular happy hour spots in the area, especially Friday nights. Try the Pain Remover #3, it can cure anything except the next morning's guilt! Monty's also has a location right on the water in Coconut Grove. Hours of Operation: Sun-Thu 11am-11pm, Fri-Sat 11am-1am

The Fort Lauderdale import is a perfect blend of Laudy prices and Miami style. Staying true to the happy hour tradition, this Brickell hotspot offers half-price drinks every day from 4-7p.m, bringing those cocktails down to $4 and martinis to $7. Stick around pass happy hour and focus your attention to the wide dark wood bar as it morphes into a raised stage featuring sultry jazz and R&B tunes. If live music isn’t your thing, there’s always the patio overlooking Mary Brickell Village and the Miami skyline. Open: Mon - Friday 4pm - 2am Sat - Sun 1pm - 2am

You can tell Miami is an International city when you stumble on a happy hour spot named Segafredo Zanetti Espresso Café (bless you). This Brickell hotspot just opened in January and is already a popular drinking spot from 4-7 each day. To be fair, it's an upscale Italian cafe/lounge that goes way beyond happy hour and further beyond the U.S. You may recognize the name from your study abroad or filling up your passport since they have over 570 locations worldwide. Hours of Operation: Sunday–Wednesday: 11:30am-2am, Thursday-Saturday: 11:30am-5am
