An absolute MUST for pizza fans looking for local flavor. Glass Nickel was conceived in college, created and is still run by two local Madisonians. Glass Nickel will serve the traditional on request, but why bother with choices like Fetalicious, the Couch Potato, Santa Fe and the Border-to-Border. The pizzas are unusual but classic and not overloaded with sauce and cheese (unless you order the Cheesssaurus). DO NOT MISS GLASS NICKEL if you’re in the mood for ‘za.
