Blue Mountain opened their doors near the start of 2007, and offers a new trendy beach theme to the Louisville coffee-house/wine-bar scene. Situated on Main Street, just across from Slugger Field, you can stop by after a game, anytime for a nice espresso, or after a meal at Browning's, across the street. Blue Mountain serve tapas and light fare in addition their delicious coffee drinks, nice wine selection, and contemporary atmosphere. Offering a micro brewed selection of locally roasted coffee, each of the multiple locations offers a strong atmosphere, with entertainment, and a great wine list (half-price on Thursdays). Be sure to stop by the Frankfort Avenue location on Thursday as it is always jam packed for its entertainment and wine. The Frankfort Ave. location is dog friendly with an outdoor patio.
