If your date doesn't fall in love with you here, they'll at least fall in love with the food. The menu features Northern Italian cuisine, with pasta selections based around linguini, risotto and spaghetti. Entrees include prime steak dishes as well as veal and chicken options, plus Eggplant Siciliana for the vegetarians out there. The atmosphere is old school, which is charming without being outdated. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the volume never gets too loud for intimate conversation. Due to La Dolce Vita's popularity (it has been around since 1966) just popping in isn't the best idea, so reservations are strongly suggested. Hours: Mon-Sat 5pm-closing time
