Lets enjoy a brisk fall walk at the Beumont Walking Trail starting at Harrods Hill Park We will explore several paths along the Beumont Walking Trail and then the children can play at the playground afterwords. Harrods Hill Park is one of our favorite playgrounds for the little ones. If it is raining or the weather is very cold (under 45 degrees) then we will meet at the mall at 9:00am. I will send an e-mail out by 8am on the morning of the 20th to members who have RSVP'd yes or maybe if the time and location are going to be changed. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and we can eat at the picnic tables after the walk. We look forward to seeing you there!

Award-winning organ improvisationalist, Tom Trenney, will present a concert at FIrst Presbyterian Church on Friday, Nov. 20 at 8:15 p.m. In addition to works by Bach, Vierne and Durufle, Mr. Trenney will improvise an accompaniment to the Laurel and Hardy film "Big Business" (1929). Mr. Trenney will also compose improvisations based on themes submitted from the audience.

This concert is the second in First Presbyterian's "Music for Mission" series. In exchange for free admission to the concert, audience members will hear a presentation from outreach organization "Living Waters for the World" and be asked to make a free-will contribution.

Tamara Beauboeuf will present a talk titled, "The Strong Black Woman: A Half-Told Tale of Voice, Racialized Gender, and the Body." A reception will follow the talk. Sponsored by the University of Kentucky Gender and Women's Studies Department, and the College of Arts and Sciences

A guided 35-minute trail ride, suitable for first time riders, takes you along the outskirts of the park. Riders must be at least 7-years old and 4-feet tall. Weight restrictions apply.
