This sports bar is serious. Coaches has more than 30 plasma TVs hung at every angle. We all know Texans are proud of their state but Coaches has satellite feeds from all corners of the globe to ensure that even if your team isn't local, you can still show your support here. What sets Coaches apart is their staff...not only are they friendly but they know sports. Sit and relax with friends or get rowdy over your team. Like everything else in Texas, Coaches is big and spacious with two full bars. If you get sick of watching sports hit up the dance floor with the live DJ. There are drink specials seven days a week. Simply put, Coaches is the ultimate sports bar. Bonus: Very clean! Open 11:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m. Everyday

This sports bar is honestly one of the best places to go to in Houston! Their crawfish is delish and they have free wi-fi (so, multi-task: Stuff your face, watch your favorite baseball game, and check your email). They play teams like Nebraska, Ohio State, Auburn, Florida Gators, Marshall University, Washington State, Penn State, Florida Seminoles, University of Iowa Hawkeye's and the University of Utah. If you are fans of any of those teams then this is the place to be!
Ever find yourself missing those wild, drink till you puke, "sick man, I love college!" frat boy parties? Don't worry you can relive your college glory days at Jonny's. Jonny's supports a younger crowd (20's early 30's) and is very "college-friendly" but come on, who gets more excited about ball games then kid's fresh out of college? There's free pool, darts shuffleboard and oh ya two beer pong tables... need I say more?

What goes along with any great sports team? Tradition. That's what Griffs offers. Walk in the door and you become apart of the Griffs legacy. Re-visit enough and the regulars will start to call you by name. Griffs has been a true Texas favorite for many years and has managed to beat out all the others by sticking to "if you're here your family." Real Old School and with "Old School" you get the full experience (TVs included). It's normally a relaxed atmosphere, but with true Texas nature, things can get rowdy, especially for Rockets games. Great food, great service. No need to impress anyone here... after all you are family!

This is the one bar in Houston that seems to be versatile enough to be all things to all people. The neighborhood bar, a sports bar, a place to dance, live music, happy hour, themed parties, it even has an outside patio with acoustic entertainment. The most important aspect however, is it is a great place to drink and meet people any day of the week. The only downfall may be it gets too crowded, but the attentive owners Blini and Mike are always there on the busy nights maintaining the flow of traffic.

Cross Texans and crazy Cajuns and you're in for a damn good time. Woodrow's is a huge bar with a massive outdoor deck. The place can get packed on game day so go early if your with a large group, otherwise there might be a wait. Woodrow's draws a business crowd during the week for happy hour, and a rowdy bunch of students and college alumni on big game days. Plenty of TVs and bar food. Sticking to the Cajun theme, LSU fans flock to this bar but always enjoy some friendly competition. Laissez les bon temps rouler! Cajun for, "Let the Good Times Roll!"
