This place is always busy, but yet if you’re in the mood to chill and relax, you can. Good music, good selection of drinks. This is one of those MUST-GO places in Houston.

Rock hungry music lovers welcome! The bar, which is suggestively named after the infamous rock musician Kurt Cobain, is dedicated to playing Rock music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today. Kobain has a spacious outdoor patio with lots of tables and chairs for big groups with a bar located both indoors and outdoors. Not only does the bar offer a fabulous music selection, they have sociable yet attentive bartenders and a cozy environment that encourages you to let loose and rock out with your friends. Hours: Mon-Fri 4pm-2am, Sat 12pm-2am and Sun 11am-2am.

Hans’ Village Bier and Vino Haus is a charming establishment with a beer garden that is used for Bocce tournaments, if you’re not familiar with the game the rules are listed on their website. This is the perfect place for you to kick back with a cold one and enjoy the afternoon with a friend or two. Hours: Wed-Sat 5pm-2am and Sun-Tues 5pm-12am.

People come to this Coastal Mexican restaurant strictly for the experience of the outdoor oasis and the exotic drinks, not so much for the food. The roomy patio has a fantastic atmosphere with adorable cabanas surrounded by a rainforest of plants, a waterfall and a festive wagon-wheeled fence. If you’re up for some change then step away from the usual Margarita for one with a Caribbean twist like the Coco or Pinarita, which are served in actual coconut and pineapple shells. El Pueblito’s outside patio is an ideal location to visit on a breezy evening with some friends expecting a fantastic time.

Yes… the bar is located on the roof and as you can anticipate it has a phenomenal view of the Houston skyline. The Roof Bar creates two different scenes for you, where you can either unwind on the refreshing outside patio or dance the night away in the trendy rock themed indoor area. There’s no cover, the service is exceptional, inexpensive drinks and it’s on a roof over looking the city, what more could you ask for? Notice: Don’t get discouraged when you’re searching for this bar, they don’t have a sign so in order to find the bar look for the colored lights radiating from the top of the building.
