The historic Fox Theatre located on Woodward is what started the resurgence of downtown. Bought by the Ilitchs (owners of Little Caesars, Red Wings, and the Tigers) it has now become the centerpiece of the "entertainment district." Comerica Park and Ford Field are right across Woodward. Restaurants and bars have popped up in the surrounding areas. Rumor has it that the next home of the Wings will be right behind the Fox further helping make it the hub of the city. Fox Theatre box office hours: Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Also open on day of event

Operas, dances, and concerts in this recently, renovated hall in the heart of the entertainment district of downtown Detroit. Sting played there a few years back and said it was one of the best places (in terms of sound) that he had ever played.
