One if the best date places in the "D." Great Italian food, impeccable service, and a really romantic atmosphere. During the summer months, try and get a seat in their courtyard. Adds to the ambiance even more. After dinner and drinks at LDV, the rest of the evening should be smooth sailing!

The Red Coat is a great burger joint! Don't try anything else...just the burgers! Make sure you get them fully dressed also. You won't be sorry. Also, make sure your whole party is there at the same time, otherwise you'll be waiting to get seated (place is always packed). It's completely worth the wait though. Hours: Mon-Sat 11am-2am

The Lark is one of the most renowned and celebrated restaurants in the midwest and is located right in Detroit's backyard of West Bloomfield. The Lark offers a quiet, peaceful setting overlooking a walled garden with a fountain and outdoor grill. The decor is that of an elegant southern European country inn. The cuisine is both eclectic and distinctive, and is created with French cooking techniques. Tue-Sat 5pm-9pm

Chesley's Bar and Grille has been called the "Cheers of Downriver" where everybody really does know your name. The friendly staff will make you feel right at home and the fun, casual atmosphere is the perfect place to relax with family and friends.

Established in 1984, Gusoline Alley has over 100 beers and 50 seats (barely). They cater to everyone and everyone. On any given night you will see bikers and preppies knocking back some at Gus' and having a great time. Sometimes known as a place to begin the night, but much, much, better if you are ending it there! Open Mon 12am-2am, 10pm-2am; Tue-Sat 10pm-2am; Sun 12pm-12am

The Townsend Hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Birmingham. The rooms, service, and atmosphere are nothing short of amazing. It is also a great place to be to see bands in for a concert, or to heckle the opposing teams during the season and playoffs.
