If you have, then you know exactly what we're talking about. Either way, this is a show you won't want to miss... For the uninitiated, ”Roxi Copland of Des Moines has a deep, soulful voice to complement the slew of talented musicians she works with. Decidedly jazz/pop, Roxi’s music is the modern equivalent to the sensual, smoky bar soloist with a Coltrane air.” -’Top Ten Iowa Bands’ - Max Plenke. This show 21+ only and while there's

  • CRUSH THE RECESSION Facilitated Teleseminar Series  http://myaccount.maestroconference.com/conference/register/AD0NKNN4TTUDBM3
    12:00 AM
Image of CRUSH THE RECESSION Facilitated Teleseminar Series
We are conducting a weekly series of free, facilitated teleseminars, designed to raise awareness and develop solutions, by leveraging the competencies and capabilities of other savvy business professionals from across the planet. There’s a new technology we"re leveraging, introduced by MaestroConference, which allows large groups to engage in breakout sessions via teleconference. You’ll have to experience it to believe it, and it’s really great! We are engaging a diverse segment of key associates, contemporaries, and fellow business leaders across the planet, and you are on that list, as your ethic, commitment, and capability are beyond reproach, and I am eager to introduce you to others of similar mindset. The format for these one hour calls is designed to catalyze ideas and leverage ideals regarding how YOU want to achieve… “Achieve what?” you may ask… the answer: ANYTHING YOU WANT! During recent conversations, here are some of the accomplishments that people have said they want to achieve: - Pull up and out of their "recession nose dive" - Make more money - Make more profit - Hire the right people - Fire the wrong people - Optimize their teams’ effectiveness - Spend more time with their families - Develop more collaborative relationships with business contemporaries - Network more effectively - Improve their marketing ROI - Understand the numbers, and make them dance - More peace of mind - Better health - Work less - Play more - Get a life So here’s the big question: WHO’S RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING YOUR IDEAL A REALITY? Of course, we all know that YOU are. These teleseminars are designed for YOU to engage, participate, and leverage the power, enthusiasm, and passion of the other thought leaders on the call. Since I’m inviting people from 20 countries, with the timing of the call strategically placed to accommodate all major time zones ("accommodate" is a relative term… ), we’ll be hearing from the best of the best minds across the world, who are all driving their businesses through the existing global economic dynamic, and doing the best they can. The calls are set for Friday @ noon to 1:00pm, U.S. pacific time. Here's a great time zone converter: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock Here are the dates and subjects of the upcoming teleseminars . We’ve selected 21 key subjects, which will take us through the holidays, until our final discussion on Friday, March 5, 2010… October 30, 2009 : The Power of the Genius Mind November 6, 2009 : Hope is Not a Strategy November 13, 2009 : Heathcare, and How It Affects You, Your Family, and Your Business November 20, 2009 : "Woo-Woo" Business: Employing the Art and Science of Alchemy, Martial Arts, and "Alternative" Methods November 27, 2009 : What’s "The Point of Breathing?" December 4, 2009 : Currencies: Money, Influence, Trust December 11, 2009 : The Power of Effective Networking December 18, 2009 : Who’s Managing Your Investments? December 25, 2009 : no call - Christmas Day January 1, 2010: no call - New Years Day January 8, 2010 : The Power of Social Networks January 15, 2010 : The Antithesis of Affluence: The Undertow of Poverty, and How to Swim Away from it January 22, 2010 : Be Aware of Distractions that Come Disguised as Opportunities January 29, 2010 : What Are You Not Willing To Do? February 5, 2010 : Understanding Conquers Fear February 12, 2010 : What does “Happiness" have to do with Business? February 19, 2010 : Delayed Gratification: "Short Term Sacrifice for Long-Term Gain.” February 26, 2010 : Recognize and Watch Out for Vampires, People Cancers, and Victims March 5, 2010 : Escapism: What are You doing to Cope? Consider this a weekly hour for you to influence your future, leveraging the power of the collective mind, and help people influence theirs. Feel free to attend all, or only the few that appeal to you. These calls will be fun, fabulous, and free. FREE? “How can you do this, Chris, and stay in business?” …good question… Actually, my business is doing pretty well these days, and I am inspired to help other people positively influence their bottom lines, in my personal effort to stimulate our economy. In essence, GPS Business Group is sponsoring this teleseminar series. And – believe it or not – I WON’T TRY TO SELL YOU ANYTHING! Yes, this is my PAY IT FORWARD approach to realigning us all with our possibilities, power, and authentic capability to BE THE CHANGE. Ask yourself: how are YOU paying it forward in these ongoing times of transition? So LET’S DO THIS TOGETHER! If not now, WHEN? If not you, WHO? It’s time to get off the bench, step up to the plate, and start swinging. Let’s knock this downturn out of the park! NOTE: The system can only accommodate the first 50 people, so make sure you register soon! WHO’S WITH ME? Here’s the registration link: http://myaccount.maestroconference.com/conference/register/MX9T239NFYF Q4OY Once registered, you will be sent the access number. So tap into this energy, and power up your knowledge, capabilities, and enthusiasm to DO WHAT IT TAKES to succeed. BE PREPARED TO ENGAGE AND PARTICIPATE!

Ugly face-to-face throat-cutting. William Shakespeare stirs all of this & more into his most popular “history” play (and his most compelling “war” play.) Henry V achieves the nearly impossible, as both a “call-to-patriotism-because-war-is-necessary” play & an anti-war-play. Utilizing “promenade-style” staging in which audience/actors inhabit the same staging environment (together) join the Theatre Simpson company on an invigorating exploration of power, gender, viciousness & forgiveness that is as timely right now as it was 400 years ago. Your “promenade” experience begins as you enter Pote Theatre stage, passing through swinging steel gates. Before you & around you is an “open-air” military encampment, peopled by English soldiers going about their daily business. Card-games, bonfires, musicians & weapons-makers surround you as you step into the production’s theatrical world. There is no stage, there are no seats. The audience stands amidst the actors & musicians. And from your vantage point, you are a part of the action for the next 90 minutes. This will be your promenade theatre experience. Given that you will be in the midst of the action & moving around the space, we strongly encourage you to wear comfortable shoes & to leave purses/backpacks/bags at home or in your car. Limited coat-check service will be available.
