Behold, for you have just entered sandwich heaven! Katzinger's is the Rolls Royce of delis, serving almost 80 unique conctions with names like "Rachel and Nicki Got Stuck in a Closet," "Repast of the Robber Baron," and "Andy's Got Another Job." I have no idea what any of those names mean, but all are delicious. Sandwiches are expensive ($9-$12), but they come with as many dill or garlic pickles as you can tolerate. Speaking of pickles, Bill Clinton stopped here during his 1992 presidential campaign and invented the "President Bill's Day at the Deli." We hear it tastes like cigar-smoked Lewinski! Thank you, we'll be here all week! Be sure to tip your waitstaff! M-F 8:30-8:30 / S-S 9-8:30

That smell, my friend, is roasting coffee beans. Cafe' Brioso roasts, grinds, and brews their own coffee right on the premises...and brother, it will put hair on your chest! The Sulawesi is like liquid manna. The lunches are also fantastic. Brioso's lunch menu is comprised of a grand total of six sandwiches, four salads, and three soups...but they're all awesome. It's one of the favorites of Mayor Mike Coleman, and it gets Sneaky's seal of approval, too.

Barry Rosenthal and his son have been serving up colossal deli sandwiches for quite a few years. Barry's sandwichs are definitely on par with those that you might find in the better New York delicatessens. In addition to his killer Reuben and pastrami sandwiches, Barry features knishes, matzo ball soup, and other kosher gems. Columbus' North Market has several great lunch stops under one roof, but if you want a great two-handed sandwich, look no further than Barry's. Mo 9-5 / Tu-Fr 9-7 / Sa 8-5 / Su 12-5

True to its name, you can chocolate-covered everything (including Oreos) at this neighborhood cafe. What the name doesn't imply is that you can also get an oustanding sandwich, wrap, bowl of soup, or cup of coffee. The restaurant itself has a coffee shop vibe with lots of natural light from its floor-to-ceiling windows. Recommended for those who want a wi-fi signal, but just can't eat Panera for the twentieth straight day. Be wary of the temptation to fill your pockets with chocolate-covered almonds or pretzels before you leave. You can't eat at a place called "The Chocolate Cafe" and not have chocolate, right?

Broad Street Bagels is a staple for the downtown workingman and workingwoman. They feature an extensive menu of deli sandwiches, wraps, and fresh-tossed salads. For you early birds, they make a great breakfast sandwich, too. Really not a bad item on the menu, so we recommend you put Broad Street Bagels into regular rotation. M-F 6:45-2:30
