Emilio Gervilla's Lincoln Park restaurant, serving some of the best European Spanish Tapas, is ornately decorated with murals, stucco faux finished walls, and tile mosaics. Wash down your little bites with a wide selection of Spanish wines and sangria. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 5pm-10pm; Fri-Sat 11:30am-12am; Sun 11:30am-10pm.

Tapas restaurants carry the stigma of serving small portions with big plate prices. Café Iberico is bucking the trend, leaving you feeling heavy in the stomach and the wallet. No entrée runs for more than $10 and there are enough appetizers for $5 and under that the only reason to feel guilty is how much food you ingest in one sitting. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner, so don’t be shy about coming in for an afternoon treat. Get creative and try the Roasted Veal cold tapas paired with Grilled Mushroom hot tapas, or their cold Seafood Salad tapas with shrimp, octopus, and squid. If you want the full experience, add a pitcher of sangria for only $14 to your mid-day feast. It comes in both red and white -- a sure pick-me-up in the middle of a long day. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 11am-11:30pm; Fri 11am-1:30am; Sat 12pm-1:30am; Sun 12pm-11pm

Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba is definitely one of the best tapas joints in the city! Their menu features classics like Skirt Steak with confit potatoes and onions, Beef Empanadas, Roasted Dates with bacon and apple vinaigrette and Goat Cheese baked in tomato sauce. The food is decadent, so Sneaky insists that you inhale a glass of red or white sangria to wash it down. In addition, our pals at CBBR know how to entice the tapas lover in all of us; they offer $3 Bar Tapas everyday (Mon-Sun 4pm-6pm; Fri-Sat 10pm-12am)! Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 4pm-10pm; Fri 4pm-12am; Sat 11am-12am; Sun 11am-10pm.

Celebrity chef Douglas Rodriguez wows guests with his upscale Latino cuisine in a funky supper club in the River East Art Center. Overlooking the Chicago River, the large dining room features an extensive menu filled with tapas selections that include; Chorizo In Blanket (corn arepa, anise, green olive tapenade), Duck Confit (Spanish fig cake, mahon, cheese, watercress), Cheese of Spain (honeycomb, curry marcona almond, fig cake). If you are with folks who aren’t fans of tapas (as if?), Rodriguez treats diners to “inspired coastal Latin cuisine,” and offers a number of other dishes as well as one of the best ceviche bars in town. Hours of Operation: Mon-Thu 11:30am-2:30 pm; 5-10pm; Fri 11:30am-2:30pm, 5-11pm; Sat 5-11pm; Sun 5-10pm.

This Wrigleyville restaurant puts a new “twist” on tapas and we likey! Though the location is somewhat unlikely for such exquisite global flavors, Twist serves it up with style. Their extensive small plate menu includes all your basics and features the "Twisted Tapas" menu – a flavor explosion of international fusion dishes served tapas style. This breath of twisted air includes; Mini Crabcakes, Seared Ahi Tuna, Paella Twist, Pork Tenderloin Medallions, Baked Tilapia and Lobster Ravioli.
