Opened in 1966 this self-proclaimed hangover helper is very serious about its status as a "morning after"-type of restaurant. Yak-Zies, a great place for hot wings and beer, is the perfect location to meet up with friends and watch the game. Serving up over 20,000 wings per week they do not disappoint. The wings, which are meaty and greasy and anything you could want in a good piece of sauced chicken, are even better when paired with one of the great sauces: Mild, Medium, Hot, Oh My Gosh! and the newest flavor, Tang-Z-Q. And don't forget to drop by on Mondays from 7-10pm when wings are 25% off! Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 11am-4am; Sat 11am-5am; Sun 11am-4am

Feeling lucky? Then try the suicide wings and hope for the best. These awesome Buffalo wings reside in the northern suburbs but are worth the trek. Buffalo Joe's, the original, is located in Evanston, just outside of the city, but this little gem is serious about its wings. Every one is cooked to order to insure crispness and eaten quickly by the frequenting Northwestern fans. If you’re not ready for the hotness, it’s ok, you can share the mild wings with your mommy. Hours of Operation: Mon-Sun 11am-12am.

The reason BW3s is such a mainstay is in the sauce, literally! While BW3, also known as, Buffalo Wild Wings is a chain, it holds up nicely to the independent wing joints around the city of Chicago. With 12 creative sauces, there’s a flavor for every taste bud –mild and teriyaki to Caribbean jerk and finally to the hottest of the hot, Blazin! Smolder the flames with some of their world famous Buffalo chips! For late night snackers the kitchen stays open until they shut the doors. Hours of Operation:

This high-traffic hotspot is the perfect place to get your fill of some great Chicagoland Buffalo "tweeties". Voted "Best Wings," by the Chicago Tribune in 2006, this lively and comfortable neighborhood bar serves 'em up in Hot, BBQ or Teriyaki. If just tasting, get a basket of ten, but if you’re super hungry and maybe in the mood to throw your friend a bone, go big for the basket of 30. These tasty wings are perfect on any night, but drop by on either Sunday or Thursday for 25-cent tweetie night! Paired with great domestic beer specials, you’ll be able to eat your bodyweight in tweeties! Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 5pm-2am; Sat 11am-3am; Sun 11am-2am
