LOOKING FOR THE

Best Day Time Leisure Activities in Chicago

Map My Location
When the Chicago winter slowly fades an amazing thing happens to Chicagoans. They start gravitating towards the Lakefront Path to begin an outdoor exercise regimen that is just too unbearable in the below zero temperatures. When the City of Chicago built this path it was intended to be a bike path, but it has slowly evolved into being the premier location for daytime leisure activity. The 18-plus-mile, multi-use paved trail is the perfect place to bike, run or rollerblade your way into shape!
Ripped, tan, bodies volleying on North Beach is a sight to be scene! Some girls choose to sport tiny bikinis (not conducive to eating messy sandwiches) while others chose to wear team colors or board shorts so they can get down and dirty. North Beach houses more than 50 volleyball nets and a number of different leagues. If you aren’t up for filling out the paperwork and joining a team, feel free to rent your own equipment or sit on the sidelines and watch them sweat it out.
