Once a tiny storefront slice shop, this place got so popular they had to expand to THREE times its original size! Thick and Chunky, spiced to perfection with herbs galore, this sauce adds a bang to tang! But we can all agree, a pizza can’t slide on sauce alone: slightly flaky and lightly browned, this place gives new meaning to deep dish with an explosion of mozzarella cheese melted into the crust with every bite. WARNING: resistance is futile! Hours: Mon-Sun 11am-9pm

All good things merge at this must-visit right off the Chicago River. The design is striking and extremely comfortable and the food is world-class. The Spicy Mono, spicy octopus roll topped with unagi sauce, was a standout, but everything is artful and delicious. Also, there are plenty of other options for you non-sushianados. There are tons of little nooks to chill and have a conversation with friend. Spend some time in the super-chic lounge.
